What is Full-Color Sublimation?Sublimation is a process by which we utilize an image, photo, and/or text that has been created digitally either by scanning or downloading electronically. These images and text are created in a graphics software program such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Photo-Paint, Paint Shop Pro or Corel Draw. We print the image on specially coated paper using special ink; we apply the printed paper transfer to the item to be created. We then apply heat and pressure via a heat press set to specific temperature and time depending upon the item you we are trying to make. While under heat and pressure, the ink changes to a gas which permeates into the item. When the gas cools it reverts back into a solid and creates some of the beautiful full-color items we offer. Sublimated items are fade-proof and UV stable and are impervious to almost any type of cleaning agent.
